Will for sure use him in the future
Contacted Phil due to my solar system not being responsive after a short circuit event at my residence. Phil responded quickly and fixed the problem at hand. However due to my inverter being well and truly out of warranty, requested Phil to install a new inverter, which came with a 10 year warranty. Phil returned the following day and installed the said inverter. His fee was very reasonable and I am very happy with the product and service received, will not hesitate to recommend Phil and will for sure use him in the future for my electrical needs. Thoroughly delightful experience
Phil recently installed a set of automatic gates at Peachester Lodge, our thoroughbred spelling farm and, deadset, words fall short of the thoroughly delightful experience it was from start to finish. I’ll try writing a few anyway. Top-shelf service. Just superb. Donna, over the phone, was a pleasure to speak with when organising the original consultation. When Phil came out to inspect for the quote he was friendly, clearly and extremely knowledgeable, a straight-shooter and a top bloke. The gates themselves – fabricated from scratch – are just splendid, beautifully crafted, sturdily built, and have already drawn compliments after their debut on the Peachester Lodge Instagram page. Phil’s communication, professionalism and work ethic were stellar throughout the process. I can’t recommend Phil Wilshire Electrical enough. Hire them. Nuff said.

Professionalism extends to thorough advice
We have nothing but excellent things to say about Phil Wilshire Electrical. Phil is so punctual – always there on time unlike other tradesmen in the past. We have had a full house wired with fans, downlights, speakers and points put in … not to mention 5kw worth of solar installed plus other smaller jobs over the years. He is very professional and tidy. Donna would call us as a courtesy and explain thoroughly all about how to go about getting our solar sorted out with Energex etc and let us know who the best company to change to in regards to getting as much cents per kw and how to take care of it etc … where other companies definitely haven’t done that! I can’t recommend Phil Wilshire Electrical highly enough!

I recently engaged Phil Wilshire Electrical to install a 1.56 solar pv system on our roof, having been referred to them by others living here in our Complex for whom they undertook similar work, and having witnessed at first hand the excellent standard of workmanship demanded of themselves. The level of professionalism shown by Phil and support staff, together with Donna’s minute attention to Government procedure and paperwork are all first-rate, including fastidious punctuality, detail and neatness. Last week I had reason to seek follow-up service on what I thought was a related issue, and even though this turned out to be of no consequence, both Phil and Donna acted courteously, immediately and without charge to allay my concerns. Nothing was too much trouble
We met Phil Wilshire from Phil Wilshire Electrical about 5 years ago through a family friend. We had him do some general electrical work, and install ceiling fans, all of which we were very happy with. Then we asked him to install solar panels on our roof. We were so impressed with his work ethic, and his friendly attitude (nothing was too much trouble), that we recommended him to everyone in our complex who followed suit. All of them cannot speak highly enough of him and his work. We will be moving soon, and will definitely be using Phil again for more solar panels and any general electrical work we will need at the new property. My husband and I moved to the Sunshine Coast 13½ years ago and shortly after moving here we were in need of an electrician. I don’t recall the first job or how we got onto Phil, probably through Yellow Pages but needless to say we have used Phil ever since for any electrical problem we have had – big or small. Good local solar installer
Whilst getting various quotes for solar power a couple of years back, we found most providers to be extremely expensive, especially when giving quotes for the Sunshine Coast as there were always ‘additional costs’ involved. Luckily a friend recommended Phil as being a good local solar installer at a reasonable price and this has proved to be the case. He installed our solar power very professionally by correctly selecting the right place to put it and his workmanship installing the panels etc. was excellent. He does all my electrical work
My first contact with Phil Wilshire Electrical was through the yellow pages, when I was having Automatic electric gate installed. That’s going back over 6 years ago now. My dealings with him right from the beginning have always been very professional; he completed the gates without any problems and was so helpful explaining how everything worked with them. I found his prices and workmanship to be very good and so have used him on general electrical work numerous occasions since my first dealings with him. In fact he does all my electrical work now. I highly recommend him to friends as I know what standard of work he does and at times I have needed advice and when I contact him nothing is a bother to him.
